Yang Bo was taking a route on his own, but the friend-or-foe identification system was activated, allowing him to see the locations and trails of the nearby teammates.
The other teams had different responsibilities. Some deployed electronic interference, disabling the radar systems on the private lands along the route and disrupting communications.
Many private lands in the Federation did not even have radar, since most of them were merely ranches and farms.
Most also lacked public communications and transportation infrastructure. Under the corporate-managed city model, no one would invest in projects that required massive investment with little return.
Even if the people on these private lands spotted the Mercenary Groups, they would keep their mouths shut. With communications disrupted, they had no way to call the company or report anything. If the people on those private lands made any moves, the mercenaries would eliminate them immediately.
"Team A, all clear."
"Group B, all clear." Reports from the other teams participating in the operation came through the encrypted communications channel.
Nelson was also at the operation's assembly point, watching the directions and progress of each team displayed on the Virtual Projection, his expression grave.
Since they were launching a surprise attack, the teams involved were all elite units and moved extremely fast.
They were all traveling at subsonic speeds. The equipment of these Mercenary Groups could not possibly be that good; the funding for this operation was only a few hundred million, nowhere near enough to outfit them with advanced mechas.
Yang Bo's Generation Ten Mecha was already the best among them. Most of the rest were Generation Three or Four Mechas, with some Generation Five or Six Mechas.
There were also Armed Flying Cars converted from Flying Cars, as well as individual Flying Skateboards, flying motorcycles, and similar equipment.
