Yang Bo's territory on Green Devil Star was called Emerald Territory, covering an area of 14.6 million square kilometers.
It had not been that large at first. Later, however, Yang Bo had claimed the surrounding swamps and other unwanted areas as well, adhering to the principle of not wasting anything.
The other nearby lords had been quite accommodating.
That was because Yang Bo had played a leading role in Green Devil Star's independence and the destruction of the Ash Organization.
Yang Bo was also a member of Green Devil Star's Planetary Council. They had originally wanted him to serve as council chairman, but for one thing, he would not be staying on Green Devil Star long-term.
Second, Green Devil Star Council held even less power than the Planetary Councils of the Federation's various provinces.
The Mutants and Modified Humans each had their own territories, and everyone simply managed their own land.
Of course, those Mutants and Modified Humans had previously existed in tribal forms. In truth, those tribes had essentially been slave societies.
The tribal lords had been the former kings, such as Tiger-Face King.
As mentioned before, because the natives of Green Devil Star had refused genetic sequencing and genetic binding, whoever held the ownership documents for a territory became its lord.
"Things have developed quickly. I've only been gone for two years." Yang Bo saw many Mutants and Modified Humans holding communicators and making calls, while their clothing no longer resembled what it had been before.
Their appearances, however, remained extreme. Many of them displayed traits from other animal genes. This was mainly due to Green Devil Star's former chaos—the Ash Organization, Alliance medicine companies, and others had conducted all sorts of illegal research here, and some test subjects had escaped.
