Holding the decree in his own hands, Jiang Ziya sped toward Mount Qi by Earth Evasion and reached the Investiture of the Gods Platform in but an instant. Qing Fu Shen Bai Jian had long been waiting beneath the platform and welcomed Ziya inside. Ziya set the talisman decree in the central place at the heart of the platform, then immediately ordered Wu Ji and Nangong Shi, "Quickly erect the Eight Trigrams paper banners to suppress the eight directions and the positions of the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches." He further commanded the two to lead three thousand armored soldiers and arrange formations according to the five directions—east, west, south, north, and center. Once every matter had been arranged, Ziya bathed and changed clothes, lit incense in a golden tripod, poured wine and offered flowers, then circled the platform three times. When the rites were complete, he first summoned Qing Fu Shen Bai Jian to stand below the platform and await orders, then opened the decree and proclaimed Primordial Lord of Heaven's edict: "The Supreme Infinite Primal Chaos Patriarch Primordial Lord of Heaven decrees: Alas!
