"Traveling across worlds is both a ladder to heaven and an abyss that severs souls for you all. On this journey, I will grant no spiritual treasures, set no protection, and offer no guidance through confusion. You will rely wholly on your own cultivation to force your way through! Should you die in another world, your bones left without a resting place, your Dao foundation shall be deemed ruined. From then on, you will be cast out from this sect and no longer be disciples of mine, Su Yang. Whether you become Sages or perish lies between life and death—in a single thought, a single gamble."
After speaking, Su Yang slowly turned, his gaze settling upon the colossal statue of Pangu before him. His mind surged like a tide, splitting in an instant into billions of strands of divine sense. Like silver shuttles piercing the sky, they plunged straight into boundless nothingness, probing toward the unknown.
At those words, the disciples' hearts churned, joy and worry intermingling. They rejoiced because the path to Sagehood had suddenly appeared, a thread leading straight to the heavens; they worried because the cultivation methods of other worlds differed vastly, their laws unfamiliar, and one wrong step could doom them beyond redemption. Yet even so, none believed they would fall there—years of bitter cultivation had forged their confidence deep into their bones. But the more certain they were, the less they dared take anything lightly. Everyone held their breath and gathered their spirits, not daring to show the slightest trace of arrogance.
"Have you all thought this through?"
"Reporting to Master, this disciple is willing to venture into another world, tread through myriad tribulations in search of the Great Dao, and forsake this body to prove true Sagehood!"
Their voices struck the ground like metal
