Cold glints blazed with biting sharpness, their edge-intent piercing to the bone. Sweeping the Eight Wastelands, they churned once, and the milky-white radiance shattered inch by inch.

A beastly howl came from afar, drawing near as it tore through the silence.
The roar was exceedingly strange, actually causing fine waves to ripple through the void. Like stones cast into a calm lake, the ripples spread layer upon layer, continuing without end.
Hearing the sound, Su Yang halted. Before he could think further, an enormous creature had already pounced towards him with a thunderous crash.
It came down like a mountain collapsing, shrouding the heavens and blocking the sun. Its pressure surged like a tide, rolling out in every direction.
A pair of crimson pupils were red as blood, terrifying to the soul. A bone-chilling chill seeped endlessly from them; wherever it passed, the air abruptly congealed and frost formed in secret.
In the blink of an eye, the surrounding world seemed to have fallen into an ice cave.

What manner of fierce creature was this? Only to see its towering body, like a moving mountain range; blade-like barbs rose from its spine, each one standing erect. Six pairs of giant wings grew beneath its ribs, their bony ridges savage, their thin, translucent membranes stretched taut over the wing tips. Its giant mouth gaped open, fangs interlocking in uneven lengths, grim and dreadful. Beneath its belly, claws like peaks were covered in thick, dense, cold, hard scales. Its entire body was wreathed in milky-white mist that drifted ceaselessly,
