With a light wave of the folding fan in his hand, the gods of the Three Realms all instinctively felt a surge of admiration.

"It was clearly nothing more than an ordinary mortal body, yet it carried an otherworldly air. He truly was an elegant young master of the world."

Su Yang's gaze swept over everyone present as he slowly said, "Since everyone is interested, I shall explain the details to you all."

"That Void Great Emperor, who was born at the end of the Primordial Era, what kind of person was he? What did he do,

and why was he able to surpass the Great Emperors of the Primordial World, becoming an even greater existence?"

Su Yang gently waved the folding fan in his hand. His voice was low, yet it clearly reached everyone's ears.

Whether they were powerful figures outside the Three Realms gazing from afar at the inn, or the guests from all sides who were close at hand inside it, all were deeply captivated by his story.

They seemed to have entered another world, personally experiencing that magnificent stretch of time and space and sensing its reality and vastness.

Everyone's hearts trembled, and they could not help wondering, "Could that Shrouding the Heavens World actually exist?"

"During the Ancient Era, that turbulent age, countless races stood side by side and all the Saints vied with one another. As for humanity, only one Great Accomplishment Sacred Body remained to guard it."

"That Sacred Body was already old, and from then on, no one else could cultivate a Sacred Body."

"The undercurrents of the Dark Turmoil were quietly gathering. All it lacked was an opportunity before it would sweep across the world,

and that would happen within a few hundred years at most. Those Supremes who had once severed themselves with a single strike had still feared the Great Accomplishment Sacred Body in the past, but now, he had grown old."

"The Great Accomplishment Sacred Body let out a long sigh. Seeing the younger generation wither and the succession of talents cut off, he dared not imagine

what kind of catastrophe would follow if he completely aged and died before humanity produced a Great Emperor."

"It was in this turbulent and uneasy era that a young man named Ji Xukong entered the sight of the Great Accomplishment Sacred Body."

The listeners seemed to witness that aged Great Accomplishment Sacred Body with their own eyes, sensing the surging, tidal force of his blood and qi.

They sensed his unyielding will, as well as the sorrow and worry born from humanity's lack of a Great Emperor.

"Who was this Great Accomplishment Sacred Body? He... was he humanity's guardian?"

Because they shared the same bloodline, everyone felt as though they were experiencing it personally and found it difficult to accept that humanity's final hope had already grown so old.

If he died, where would humanity go from there?

When they heard that Ji Xukong had appeared, a glimmer lit up in everyone's eyes.

Ji Xukong! Could he be the later Void Great Emperor?

But why was he still so young at that time?

"Facing that aged Great Accomplishment Sacred Body, Ji Xukong asked him to buy him a hundred years."

"After hearing this, the Great Accomplishment Sacred Body merely sighed softly and calmly told him,"

"What use would a hundred years be? Do you know that no one in this world has ever been able to attain the Dao and become a Great Emperor within five hundred years? The former Emperor Venerable could not, and the Undying Heavenly Emperor could not either."

"The Great Accomplishment Sacred Body gazed at Ji Xukong and merely sighed softly. The youth possessed astonishing talent and the aptitude to become a Great Emperor,

but unfortunately, he had very little time left to him."

As these words fell, a trace of terror and unease flashed through the eyes of the surrounding listeners.

However, Su Yang did not pause and continued:

"After hearing the Great Accomplishment Sacred Body's words, Ji Xukong immediately swore, 'If no one can attain the Dao within five hundred years, then I, Ji Xukong, will ascend to the summit in the five hundred and first year!'"

"A hundred years was incredibly long, yet it passed in the blink of an eye."

"Over those hundred years, Ji Xukong endured countless hardships and exhausted every means to temper himself. He knew

that the Great Accomplishment Sacred Body had little time left, and humanity's hope could only be shouldered by him alone!"

"He fought against the Kings of the myriad races! He slew their true bodies, suppressed Sacred Spirits, and faced enemies in every direction! Each battle pushed him to the brink of death!"

As Su Yang spoke, unprecedented passion ignited in everyone's eyes.

Could Ji Xukong truly become a Great Emperor in the five hundred and first year?!

"Finally, in the five hundred and first year, the celestial phenomenon symbolizing the Great Emperor Tribulation arrived as scheduled!"

"The firmament trembled, chaotic lightning roared, and the cries of dragons and phoenixes resounded throughout heaven and earth. Laws intertwined, transforming into divine chains of order that pierced through the void!"

"And when the Great Emperor Tribulation descended, the Supremes sleeping within the Forbidden Zones of Life finally could not hold themselves back."

"They had waited so long for the Nine Great Sacred Bodies to fall. How could they tolerate another contemporary Great Emperor rising above them? This was absolutely unbearable and utterly unacceptable!"

Everyone seemed to be there themselves, witnessing Ji Xukong standing atop the Heaven's Vault beneath the force of thunder, facing Heaven's punishment without retreating an inch!

At the same time, they saw the long-silent figures of the Supremes within the Forbidden Zones of Life slowly awaken and open their eyes!

Pairs of enormous eyes emerged across heaven and earth, coldly and emotionlessly staring at Ji Xukong!

The listeners could not help trembling all over. That sense of oppression was not directed only at Ji Xukong; it seemed to pierce straight through their minds as well!

"And as the Great Accomplishment Sacred Body watched Ji Xukong draw down the Great Emperor Tribulation,

a relieved smile appeared at the corner of his mouth. In that moment, he was no longer aged. Instead, his aura soared like a rainbow, swallowing mountains and rivers!"

"He actually ignited his combat power by force with his vital essence, briefly restoring himself to his peak state!"

"For the continuation of humanity, and to witness the birth of a Great Emperor, the Great Accomplishment Sacred Body still stepped forward to buy humanity time despite having reached the end of his years!"

"Facing those Forbidden Zones of Life, the Great Accomplishment Sacred Body roared, 'If anyone dares show themselves today, I will surely slay a Supreme!'"

That roar shook the hearts of all who heard it!

Although old and weakened, the Great Accomplishment Sacred Body still fought with fearless resolve to win Ji Xukong that slim chance of becoming a Great Emperor. Even if it meant trading his life for another's, he would not hesitate!

All so that humanity could survive the calamity and welcome a new dawn!

Countless listeners' eyes brimmed with tears. The tears slowly slid down their faces, while every gaze fell upon the figure of that Great Accomplishment Sacred Body.

"This senior was a powerhouse of our human race! He had sacrificed far too much for humanity!"

"In an age without a Great Emperor, it was he who protected humanity. When a Great Emperor was born, it was still he who guarded the land, helped him attain the Dao, and stabilized the situation!"
