Though he was now only a tiny ant cautiously hunting Nether Soil wandering souls in the Nether Soil, he was filled with anticipation for such a world.
He knew that only by constantly increasing his strength could he survive in this world.
Thus, Hun Wusheng frantically hunted and devoured wandering souls in the Nether Soil, continuously solidifying his soul body as its color gradually turned inky black.
Though he paid the corresponding price for it, he did not care overly much.
Because he knew that as his soul body grew stronger, the Divine Mechanism fused with Hun Wusheng was also constantly optimizing and improving, its deduction capabilities growing further.
All of this made him look forward even more to his future self, and filled him with anticipation for this Primordial World.
As time passed, Hun Wusheng used wandering souls to strengthen himself and drive the continuous improvement of the [Divine Mechanism] function.
After Spirit Binding and Dispatch, the remaining Eight Wonders Techniques were likewise deduced by Divine Mechanism into versions powered by soul power.
The Eight Wonders Techniques had originally arisen from the same system, so their evolution was exceedingly swift.
Thanks to the experience gained from the Nether Soil Soul Power Version of Spirit Binding and Dispatch, Divine Mechanism acquired a great deal of data during its deductions, making the deduction of the other Nether Soil Soul Power Version techniques increasingly rapid.
At the same time, Divine Mechanism itself was continuously enhancing its capabilities as it leveled up alongside Hun Wusheng.
Because Hun Wusheng's soul body had devoured numerous living beings, it was filled with vast quantities of memories. He had to constantly divide his attention to keep himself from being affected by the emotions contained within those memories.
He relied on Divine Mechanism's assistance. Otherwise, he would likely have been contaminated by those fragments of memory and damaged at his foundation.
Therefore, he first decided to deduce the Nether Soil Soul Power Version of [Dual Hands].
After receiving the information, Hun Wusheng was deeply moved. Even after merging into the Primordial World, the Eight Wonders Techniques still retained their trait of mutually assisting one another.
The new Dual Hands—the Nether Soil Soul Power Version of Dual Hands—could be deduced under the influence of soul power without **, while retaining and elevating its ability to alter soul memories, resolving the problems brought about by Spirit Binding and Dispatch.
Hun Wusheng named this new skill the Nether Soil Soul Power Version of Dual Hands. It was primarily used to purify the soul body and erase memories that did not belong to him.
In this way, it formed a perfect complement to the Nether Soil Soul Power Version of Spirit Binding and Dispatch.
The memories that were cleared away were absorbed by Divine Mechanism and stored as knowledge, providing material for future skill deductions.
Although Hun Wusheng had cleared away the muddled memories through the Nether Soil Soul Power Version of Dual Hands, he had devoured too many soul bodies, leaving the soul power within his own soul body mixed and impure. This required a third wonder technique—Great Luo Insight, which cultivated the soul.
Great Luo Insight was the ultimate expression of emerging as a Yang God. It could turn true qi into form, allowing the physical body and soul to shift freely between each other. In a soul state, one could even traverse space, observing from the perspective of the soul and seeing through all things in the world.
At the same time, it could strengthen the cultivator's talents in time and space, granting time perception, spatial teleportation, foresight of the future, and other abilities related to time and space.
Hun Wusheng now possessed an extremely effective method in the Primordial World. In particular, his pure Yin Soul Body was still some distance away from the Yang God Realm.
Yet the soul-power Nether Soil Soul Power Version of Great Luo Insight became the key to his Refining Yin into Yang and purifying the impurities in his soul body, giving him hope of achieving a Pure Yang Yang God where Yin Reaching Extreme Gives Birth to Yang.
He called it the Nether Soil Soul Power Version of Great Luo Insight.
To Hun Wusheng, this brand-new skill was like a path leading to a higher level.
Though Spirit Binding and Dispatch allowed him to devour and consume spirits, strengthening his foundation, Great Luo Insight was the key to achieving a qualitative transformation and guiding him toward a higher realm.
The Primordial World he inhabited was unknowably more advanced than the One Man World, making him look forward even more to ascending another level through Great Luo Insight.
Although he had only a soul body left and could not transform between a physical body and soul, he could still gather and disperse as he pleased, much like an elementalized soul.
As for time-space abilities, he could not yet achieve them in the current Primordial World, but the Nether Soil Soul Power Version of Great Luo Insight could at least enhance his perception.
Hun Wusheng's three great wonder techniques—Spirit Binding and Dispatch, Dual Hands, and Yang God Transformation—formed a perfect cycle, ensuring that he would not lack paths or methods to grow stronger for some time.
Most of the remaining Eight Wonders Techniques were based on the auxiliary capabilities of these three Nether Soil Soul Power Version wonder techniques.
For example, Six Treasuries Immortal Thief could not be used because Hun Wusheng had no physical body and his soul body had no internal organs.
So Hun Wusheng blazed a different trail, treating his soul body as an organ furnace and developing a Nether Soil auxiliary version of Six Treasuries Immortal Thief, allowing him to grow stronger even by eating dirt in this land of Nether Soil.
The emergence of Six Treasuries Immortal Thief caused the soul power within Hun Wusheng to surge explosively. For this reason, he deduced the Nether Soil Soul Power Version of Qi Body Source Flow, gaining an absolute understanding of the nature of soul power. No soul-power attack could ever affect him a second time.
This brought his affinity with Nether Soil soul power to its very peak.
As time passed, Hun Wusheng's soul body continuously transformed along with his soul power. Combined with the Nether Soil Soul Power Version of Divine Spirit Clarity that he had regained, any technique formed from soul power would be restrained and absorbed by him.
Hun Wusheng's Path of Cultivation in the Nether Soil
At present, he was the only one in the Nether Soil world, so these abilities were rather underwhelming.
His three great abilities were Six Treasuries Immortal Thief, which absorbed soul power; Qi Body Source Flow, which rendered him immune to soul power; and Divine Spirit Clarity, which controlled soul power. Even in this Primordial World, these Eight Wonders Techniques were exceptionally formidable.
After comprehending the powerful effects of these three abilities, he became utterly convinced of their potential. Should he step into the Primordial World in the future, as the number of power systems he mastered increased, the might of these three wonder techniques would become utterly terrifying.
If he could deduce and master every power system, then with these three wonder techniques, he would attain a state where ten thousand laws could not invade him and ten thousand tribulations could not wear him down.
However, to reach such a realm, he had to deduce these wonder techniques to the level of the "Dao."
These three would become the three strongest lines of defense in his future.
In addition, he possessed soul-power versions of three other great wonder techniques: Divine Mechanism Hundred Refinements, Feng Hou's Mystic Gate, and Heavenly Talisman. Combined with soul-power alchemy, artifact refinement, mystic gate formations, and talisman arts, they were mainly auxiliary tools to him at present, but these six wonder techniques were even more beneficial to his cultivation.
As for why there were nine versions of the Eight Wonders Techniques, it was simply because each of these nine great techniques had its own unique traits. Hun Wusheng still had many abilities that required deduction, and he would make his choices only after further increasing his strength.
Lacking background knowledge for comparison, Hun Wusheng had no idea what level he stood at.
The various great experts of the Primordial World all possessed their own unique cultivation systems and philosophies. In the Nether Soil, Hun Wusheng could only rely on his own efforts to cultivate.
Through cultivation, he sought ways to face future crises. Deep in his heart, he knew that this Nether Soil would not remain so peaceful forever.
The Nether Land underwent a strange transformation in its soul body, shifting between gold and black.
When it turned black, it was like an Abyssal Demonic Beast devouring the surrounding You Hun, sending them fleeing; when it turned gold, it emitted pure soul light that drew the You Hun close.
This transformation triggered a peculiar reaction within the Nether Land. Hun Wusheng had yet to realize that his appearance had already caused the laws of the entire Nether Land to change.
Specks of gold began appearing across the Nether Land. Some regions turned gold-black, and golden You Hun began to emerge and gather, as though illuminating this Nether Land.
Hun Wusheng was immersed in his cultivation, completely unaware of it all.
To him, this place was a paradise for growth, and the You Hun were his food.
He dreamed that one day, after devouring enough You Hun, he would be able to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Innate Divine Beings of the Primordial World.
One day, while Hun Wusheng was still devouring You Hun in the Nether Land, a tremendous boom suddenly rang out, like heaven and earth collapsing into ruin. His soul body was nearly shaken apart.
That tremor made him truly feel the threat of death. Fortunately, the soul body he had condensed through his earlier devouring allowed him to endure it.
At this moment, Hun Wusheng had never felt death so close.
Hun Wusheng felt an immense tremor accompanied by a profound aura of darkness. It was as though the entire world of the Nether Land was trembling.
The endless Nether Land split apart, mountains collapsing and earth cracking. Nether Qi storms swept up the You Hun and reduced them to dust.
At that moment, the world of the Nether Land seemed on the verge of destruction.
Though Hun Wusheng knew the Nether Land would not truly be destroyed and would instead return to being a place of reincarnation, he was still filled with terror and unease.
Such a scene made him truly feel just how tiny and powerless he was in the Primordial World.
The Primordial World also trembled at this time, as though a world-destroying calamity was about to descend.
But just then, an overwhelmingly majestic pressure swept across the entire Primordial World, rendering every living being unable to move. Even Hun Wusheng, deep within the Nether Land, was greatly affected.
Beneath that pressure, Hun Wusheng felt the power of the Primordial World's experts.
It filled him with incomparable yearning—a yearning that one day, he too could ascend to the summit of the Primordial World and behold the sights those experts had seen.
Even though Hun Wusheng had already learned many powerful skills and acquired much knowledge, he had never grown content or arrogant because of it.
Because he knew his goal was not merely this, but the pursuit of a higher realm—immortality.
At this moment, Hun Wusheng's state of mind remained unchanged.
Though he was still no more than an insignificant ant in the Primordial World, he carried the resolve to climb to its peak.
Faced with the power of truly supreme experts, he was shocked and shaken, yet felt no fear. Instead, his heart in pursuit of the Dao became even firmer.
All of a sudden, he seemed to enter a wondrous state.
The surrounding You Hun and Nether Qi surged toward him like the tides, only to be ground away one by one by the gold-black millstone at his side. They transformed into the purest Origin Soul Power, becoming the source of his strength.
His soul body continued to circulate through the gold and black hues, gradually becoming ever stronger and more solid.
Just as Hun Wusheng was immersed in this immense power, a deafening boom resounded throughout the entire Primordial World.
Countless Fierce Beast divine beings fled in terror. Hun Wusheng, however, was deep within the Nether Land, extremely far from the source of the boom. Moreover, he was in a state of enlightenment and protected by a wondrous power, so he was unaffected.
Then, a voice filled with imperial majesty spread in all directions: "I, Shen Ni, today open the World of Endless Demon Gods, accepting countless Fierce Beasts and opening the Path to Hunyuan for my Fierce Beast Clan."
This declaration seemed like the projection of a supreme existence, shaking the souls of countless Innate Divine Beings.
As those words rang out, the entire Primordial World fell completely into chaos.
At that moment, one terrifying shadowy figure after another seemed to stretch across the Myriad Worlds, surrounded above and around by horrifying Great Dao Law Divine Chains.
At the same time, Chaos Annihilation Great Dao Divine Thunder cleaved down from the void, resembling the scene of Creation of Heaven and Earth and the destruction of Hongmeng.
Even more terrifyingly, with that supreme existence at the center, countless threads of time, space, karmic fate, and causality were frenziedly targeted. At every instant, innumerable threads collapsed and perished.
Countless branches extended from Shen Ni's path.
The experts of the outside world all turned their gaze toward it. Divine beings from immeasurable multiversal universes and billions of time-space dimensions were all moved.
At this time, figures of every kind surrounded Him, their emotions laid bare. Some exuded overbearing dominance, some were noble and illustrious, some haughty and self-possessed; there were also voices of anticipation, resentment, and curses... everything went without saying.
Whether they were supreme Innate Divine Beings on good terms with Shen Ni or those hostile to him, all had gathered here at this moment.
Among the many voices were recognition and admiration for Shen Ni: "Shen Ni truly deserves to stand alongside the Three Sovereigns, and now he has opened a new path!"
"Today, the Divine Court recognizes Shen Ni's path."
"What a pity. With Shen Ni embarking on this path, the Primordial World may lose a formidable opponent."
...And so on.
Beyond the Dao, the divine beings of the Primordial World exchanged words, some astonished, some delighted, some filled with emotion.
Yet in the eyes of the beings of the Primordial World, Shen Ni was merely, like the Three Sovereigns of old, seeking to prove the Dao of Hunyuan.
At this moment, the three supreme existences nurtured within the Primordial World also turned their attention here.
