Cosmology
The Primordial World is regarded within the Great Luo Heaven as the supreme realm among countless worlds. The Great Luo Heaven connects it to the past Three Thousand Chaos, the present myriad universes and Sea of Worlds, and infinite future great universes 113.
Buzhou Mountain is the world’s heavenly pillar and the spine of the Pangu Clan. It acts as a central point connecting heaven and earth; after Corpse Dao Pangu’s growth, it became capable of converting enough chaotic spiritual energy to sustain the vastly enlarged world 91.

History
Early Era
In its early period, the Primordial World was still digesting the accumulation left by Pangu’s destruction of the Chaos Demon Gods. Living beings were scarce, while Fierce Beasts derived from Chaos Demon God remnants were widespread 133.
During the Ferocious Beast Calamity, Shen Ni opened the World of Endless Demon Gods and declared a Path to Hunyuan for the Fierce Beast Clan, plunging the Primordial World into chaos 2.
The Ancient Three Sovereigns subsequently established the Heaven, Earth, and Human Daos, giving the previously disordered world a lasting foundation 3.
Hegemony of the Three Clans
The Dragon Clan, Phoenix Race, and Qilin Race divided authority over the Water, Heavenly, and Earthly Veins respectively, ending the dominance of the Archaic Era’s earlier powers 55.
Their struggle escalated into a full-scale war. The final clash between Ancestral Dragon, Primordial Phoenix, First Phoenix, and Ancestor Kirin ended in mutual attrition, while the conflict’s aftershocks devastated the wider Primordial World 74.
The resulting Heavenly Tribulation became a new force shaping the world. Although it imposed restraint on its inhabitants, the world entered a more prosperous period after the war 77.
Reopening and Expansion
Jiang Chen’s Corpse Dao Pangu Dharma Form transformed the primordial lands, opened the Four Extremes, expanded the starry sky, and initiated a world-scale evolution 85.
The transformation lasted at least three thousand Yuan Hui. It enlarged the Primordial World three thousandfold, expanded Buzhou Mountain, and caused the nineteen layers of the Netherworld to grow alongside the rebuilt lands 86.
Natural Laws and Constraints
- The Heavenly Dao was created to regulate the Primordial World’s laws and establish order among living beings 3.
- The Earthly Dao, Heavenly Dao, and Human Dao form foundational supports for the world, while the Ghost Dao later rose as an additional major Dao 71 100.
- The world suppresses excessively powerful outside forces; the Boundless Dao Demon God could not fully break through its restrictions despite possessing power above the Grand Unity Dao Realm 46.
- The Three Great Chaos Secret Treasures were left by the Pangu Clan to reduce the world’s burden by drawing away high-level powerhouses during periods of instability 80.
- Negative Energy exists throughout the world, with especially dense concentrations in the Netherworld Blood Sea and deathly forbidden zones. The Corpse Dao converts this energy into cultivation and, in doing so, helps restore order 43.
