Origin

Ghost Dao is a new Postnatal Great Dao born because of Hun Wusheng. Unlike Innate Great Daos, which predate Heaven and Earth as evolutions of the Chaos Great Dao, it was created by a living being and possessed unusually broad potential from its inception. Its underlying laws include Yin-Yang, life and death, and reincarnation. 11

The establishment of Ghost Dao introduced the very concept of “ghosts” into the Primordial World. Tai Ming's connection with the Netherworld allowed him to absorb the Beast Emperor of Reincarnation's Innate Great Dao Origin Ancestral Qi, accelerating Ghost Dao's early development and binding it to the Earthly Dao's Netherworld. 18

Formation of the Ghost Dao System

Tai Ming developed Ghost Dao into a system capable of assimilating distinct paths. Its first four principal branches were the Innate Reincarnation Ghost Dao, Great Freedom True Demon Ghost Dao, Great Freedom Pure Land Ghost Dao, and Jiang Chen's Corpse Ghost Dao. Jiang Chen's Corpse Ghost Dao eventually surpassed Tai Ming's original body within the Netherworld Blood Sea. 18

Netherworld Ascension

Ghost Dao publicly emerged as the Path of Ghosts and Gods when Tai Ming manifested three thousand gates through the Netherworld Ghost Seal. Its appearance addressed the Primordial World's accumulated souls and unbalanced Negative Energy, especially amid the wars of the Western Land. 24

Tai Ming treated the Netherworld as Ghost Dao's base camp rather than merely an Earthly Dao remnant. When the Netherworld finally underwent a qualitative promotion, Ghost Dao replaced the original Netherworld Demon God Dao origin and became its core will. 100

Primordial-Era Influence

The strengthened Netherworld Ghost Dao triggered the Myriad Daos Contending, ending the uncontested supremacy of the Heaven, Earth, and Human Daos. Its Gate of the Mysterious Yin Ghost Dao entered the Primordial Origin Dao Sea as one of the major Dao Manifestations competing for Primordial Origin Order authority. 101

Ghost Dao later gained the capacity to bear the enlightenment of other beings.
