History
Li Qianqing’s rebirth becomes the clan’s decisive turning point. In his previous life, the Li Clan was destroyed by Clear Wind Valley thirty years later for backing the wrong faction; he returns determined to become the clan’s core and change that outcome 1. The clan protects his exceptional alchemy talent from hostile forces, especially the Jiang Clan, while investing resources into his development 13.
Li Qianqing’s exposure of the traitor Li Qianbao and the elimination of a group of rogue cultivators strengthens the clan’s standing in Xiangshui Prefecture. The victory improves its business and reputation, while Li Qianqing receives substantial Contribution Point and Spirit Stone rewards 27. He later joins the core high-level members and assumes responsibility for spiritual-root testing, junior education, and pill refinement 38 39.
After Li Qianqing establishes his foundation, the Li Clan prepares for open conflict with the Jiang Clan 134. It ultimately exterminates the Jiang Clan, acquires six spirit-vein lands, and redistributes its personnel to hold the expanded territory 153 154. The clan subsequently extends its influence into Wutong Prefecture through cooperation with the Ma and Chen Clans, gaining additional lands after the destruction of the Chang and Sun Clans 300 304 331.
Li Cunliu transfers the clan head position to Li Qianqing after the latter reaches Late-Stage Foundation Establishment. The succession is accepted as a natural outcome of Li Qianqing’s prestige and contributions 312. Li Qianqing later becomes the clan’s first Core Formation cultivator, elevating the Li Clan into one of Zhao Country’s Core Formation families 332.
The Li Clan eventually destroys the Zhao Country Royal Family and establishes Qing Country. Li Zhongyong ascends as the first mortal emperor, while the Li Clan becomes the royal house overseeing a cultivation structure of one royal family, three sects, and nine clans 431. Its power continues to rise through the Nascent Soul, Spirit Transformation, Void Refinement, and Integrated Body realms 514 600 686 735.
Leadership and Organization
Clan Head and Core High-Level Members
The Clan Head directs the clan’s long-term strategy, but core high-level membership requires both the Clan Head’s approval and recognition from the broader clan 38. Li Cunliu served as Clan Head before transferring the position to Li Qianqing 312.
- Li Qianqing — Clan Head and patriarch; the clan’s first Core Formation cultivator and architect of its rise 312 332.
- Li Cunliu — Former Clan Head; passed leadership to Li Qianqing near the end of his lifespan 312.
- Li Lilong — Foundation Establishment cultivator who oversees guidance and training during Li Qianqing’s absences 318.
- Li Xunming — Variant Spiritual Root cultivator, Core Formation seed, and later one of the clan’s Core Formation cultivators 300 371.
- Li Xunting — Ice Spiritual Body cultivator and major combatant in the clan’s campaigns 73 431.
- Li Qiuben — Flora Body cultivator whose spiritual-herb work materially strengthens the clan’s resource base 405 582.
Contribution Point System
The Li Clan uses Contribution Points to regulate access to cultivation resources and reward service.
- Core high-level members receive a guaranteed annual minimum of 3,000 Contribution Points; Foundation Establishment cultivators receive at least 10,000 39 171.
- Pills, spirit tools, cultivation methods, and other resources are deposited into the Clan Treasury before distribution 171.
- Even Li Qianqing must exchange Contribution Points for Treasury resources rather than claim them freely as Clan Head 575.
- The system rewards cultivation realm and service, with major realm breakthroughs increasing the points granted for comparable tasks 176.
Talent Nurturing
The clan systematically tests children for spiritual roots and Special Physiques, then assigns cultivation guidance according to potential 176 523.
- Li Xunting’s Ice Spiritual Body receives specialized resources, including an Ice Soul Stone and Star God Grass 73 198 201.
- Li Qiuben’s Flora Body is kept confidential while he is trained to cultivate spiritual medicines for the clan 315 318.
- Li Changgui’s formation talent earns him access to formation texts and mentorship under Clear Wind Valley’s Duan Rongrong 338.
- Li Tongxin’s Heavenly Spiritual Root and Sword Spirit Body lead Li Qianqing to personally train him as a Sword Cultivator 523.

Military Strength
The Li Clan’s strength is built around high-realm cultivators, disciplined territorial garrisons, and specialized members.
- The destruction of the Jiang Clan establishes the Li Clan as Xiangshui Prefecture’s dominant force 153 209.
- By Li Qiuben’s Nascent Soul breakthrough, the clan possesses four Nascent Soul cultivators 582.
- At one point in the Spirit Realm, the clan has twelve Spirit Transformation cultivators: one late-stage, two mid-stage, and nine early-stage 663.
- Later, its Void Refinement roster includes one Late-Stage, four Mid-Stage, and six Early-Stage cultivators, excluding allied figures and spirit beasts 748.
- Li Qianqing’s Late-Stage Void Refinement breakthrough solidifies the clan as the foremost cultivation clan in the Thousand Wind Region’s Eastern Domain 711.
External Relations
- Clear Wind Valley — The Li Clan’s upper sect during its early development. In the altered timeline, it backs the victorious Valley Master faction rather than the Grand Elder’s side 95 96.
- Ma Clan — Early Wutong Prefecture partner; the clans cooperate in campaigns against the Chang Clan and divide the resulting territorial gains 215 300 304.

- Huangmin Wu Clan — Pledges allegiance before the fall of the Zhao Country Royal Family and helps rally other Foundation Establishment forces 424 431.
- Zhao Country Royal Family — Principal rival during the struggle for Zhao Country; eliminated by the Li Clan, leading to the founding of Qing Country 423 431.
- Azure Sky Valley — Maintains a favorable relationship with the Li Clan and receives its support against the Nine Peaks Sect 728.
- Nine Peaks Sect — Enters conflict with the Li Clan after the latter aids Azure Sky Valley 711 728.
Clan Culture
The Li Clan’s reputation rests on internal rules, support for talent, and comparatively restrained treatment of subordinate forces.
- The clan does not suppress subordinate forces as a general policy, an approach other Core Formation clans consider difficult to imitate 405.
- It investigates prospective subordinate clans before accepting them and rejects forces seeking protection from crises they created themselves 283.
- Its agreements and aid are regarded as reliable by allied forces, including the Yin Family 554.
- Joining the Li Clan is considered difficult by outside cultivators, reflecting its guarded approach to lineage and membership 686.
- The clan’s prestige in Xiangshui Prefecture becomes so high that the Zhao Country Royal Family struggles to find a plausible justification for moving against it 407.
