In what felt like the blink of an eye, a year had quietly passed.
From the moment he learned that Frieza was heading for Earth, Talot had immediately taken Raditz and Selari into even more intensive training.
As for Nappa, Son Goku, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien Shinhan, and Chiaotzu, he let them slowly follow the paths they had once walked.
Over that year, Earth remained in a peaceful period.
That was only natural. According to the plot of Dragon Ball Part 1, the cosmic level had not yet entered the picture. So although some unexpected things would happen on Earth, they would not affect the peace or cause any major trouble.
In other words, Earth's technology was developing, the era was progressing, and everything was moving in a better direction.
It was worth mentioning that Piccolo Jr.'s development had been much the same as in the original story. He was first found by a farmer couple, then abandoned after frightening them when he hatched from his egg. After that, he wandered across Earth, searching for ways to grow stronger and opportunities for revenge.
Namekians grew at a completely different rate from Earthlings, so in just one short year, Piccolo had matured considerably.
His Revenge Heart was also far stronger than in the original story. Naturally, his target was Master Roshi, because Master Roshi had killed his "father"—or rather, his former self.
All in all, although the plot had undergone tremendous changes, the Main Plot had not deviated.
That said, Talot and the other two had changed quite a bit over the year.
First was their strength. Over the year, Talot had finally raised his Base Battle Power to 55 million points.
That had been the goal he set for himself a year ago, and he had exceeded it.
Fortunately,
