A scattering of footsteps echoed through the empty, somewhat gloomy underground parking garage.

Tang En huffed and puffed as he pulled his upper body out through a car window.

"Done. If I hadn't learned auto repair before, I might not have been able to get it working. This car belongs to us now."

"Didn't we say we were walking?" Lu Sheng said speechlessly.

"Since we were passing by anyway, it's better to be prepared." Tang En would never admit that he had only come over because he had spotted his favorite model and simply could not move his feet.

The two quickly got into the car. With a hum, it slowly started.

"How much gas is left?" Lu Sheng asked.

"Not much. Enough to get us there." Tang En skillfully turned the key—who knew where he had gotten it—and the headlights clicked on.

The black sedan slowly began to move, heading out of the parking garage.

The engine was extremely quiet, clearly matching the car's class.

Sitting inside, Lu Sheng could barely even feel that they were moving.

"Hey, Tang En." He withdrew his gaze from outside the window and looked toward the driver's seat.

But sitting in the driver's seat was, astonishingly, a fair-skinned woman with a ponytail!

Tang En was slumped in the passenger seat, his eyes rolled white as he dozed unconscious.
