"Your hand's injured?" As soon as he drew close, Lu Sheng saw a long, bleeding gash on Luo Lan's right arm.
"It wasn't those monsters. I got snagged while dodging." Luo Lan's voice was low.
"Get in the car first. We're leaving." Lu Sheng nodded and was the first to pull open the door and get in.
The others quickly took their seats.

The engine started, and the car slowly pulled away into the distance.
Strangely, not a single one of the people who had been chasing them came out of the mall entrance.
Lu Sheng gripped the steering wheel, shifted gears, and accelerated onto the broad highway.
The massive mall gradually vanished from their sight.
"That was fucking thrilling!" Only then did Tang En let out a breath. He slumped limply against his seat, unable to move.
"Those people clearly had something wrong with them," Lu Sheng said calmly.
"They weren't like that before. At least, I saw them once half a year ago," Luo Fei answered from the back seat.
"What a pity. We still had quite a few things at our place in the mall," Luo Lan said regretfully.
"Going back now means death," Tang En said.
"We need to figure out what made them become like that. If we don't get to the bottom of it, then if something happens to us in the future, we may run into the same kind of trouble." Luo Fei paused for breath. Saying so much in one go was no small burden for her in her current state.
"If you want to go, go by yourself. I don't want to go back and stay with that bunch of freaks." Tang En shrugged.
As Lu Sheng drove, he listened to the three of them chatter back and forth, trying
