"Through my own private, legitimate channels. Those two, one old and one young, had both appeared in the Kan Sabia and Wen Sangte regions. Both places were notorious forbidden danger zones, where all kinds of monsters and disasters often appeared.
"Since the Hero Association had always stationed people there, we had no opportunity to make contact. Later, by chance, I obtained intelligence on those two areas from a friend."
Dien spoke quickly.
"Did you compare the images?" Lu Sheng asked in a deep voice.
If they wished, the King of Magic Guides and Wang Jing could easily alter their appearances. Since they had openly appeared in those two places, it meant they wanted people to see them.
"We did. They matched the images you gave us exactly." Dien nodded. He did not know who those two were. They seemed to be more than just mediators; even the Divine Decree had issued instructions to find them.
As far as he knew, the other divine religions were conducting similar searches as well. Combined with what he had previously learned from the mediators—that the Four Great Gods had all come from the same place, Star Divine Hall—he boldly guessed that the Four Great Gods were likely connected to one another in some way.
That was why he had taken the initiative to seek help from Lu Sheng, this mediator.
"Can we find where they are now?" Lu Sheng asked again.
"That will be difficult. Those two moved very quickly, and there are no records of them using any transportation." Dien looked troubled.
"All right. Thank you. You may go." Lu Sheng nodded.
Dien slowly bent at the waist and gave a bow before turning to open the door and leave. The more he knew, the more reverent he became.
The door clicked shut.
