Between the two of them, countless streams of energy erupted wildly, twisting even the light beyond recognition.

"Weakling? You think you count as a strong one?" A Black Blade appeared at Mi Guang Ying's side, hovering in midair before slashing at Lu Sheng's waist.

Then came a second, a third. Black Blades appeared one after another, raining down madly upon Lu Sheng while the two were locked in stalemate.

Hiss! A slightly dark demonic shadow abruptly surged out from behind Lu Sheng. Four enormous arms crashed down from the sky, viciously grabbing at Mi Guang Ying.

The arms seemed forged from diamond, incomparably hard throughout, with countless pale green symbols flickering faintly across them. The moment they descended, they brutally pinned down the Black Blades.

A string of Black Blades exploded in succession, erupting with a clanging cacophony.

Left with no choice, Mi Guang Ying retreated at high speed, dodging the black arms. The Black Blade in her hand instantly withdrew, then lunged forward, shooting out at an even faster and fiercer speed, carving a pitch-black slash mark.

The slash mark unexpectedly twisted sharply through the air, turning dozens of times in succession. Like a spreading crack, like branching tree limbs, it bypassed the black arms and struck Lu Sheng hard.

Lu Sheng's body flew backward. A massive black shadow could vaguely be seen connected to his back, as though it were parasitizing his body, constantly canceling out the immense destructive energy pouring into him from the Black Blade.
