Nature and Formation

Lu Sheng first identified the power while examining a red mask saturated with Yin Qi. He concluded that its formation required a spirit's long attachment to an object and the investment of its Essence Qi and spirit until death, renaming the phenomenon God-Entrusting Power. 219

Its essence is described as residual spiritual thought mixed with Essence Qi; highly concentrated spiritual thoughts can be absorbed by the Modifier. Later, Lu Sheng distinguishes it from faith power as pure Divine Soul power naturally leaked and preserved from souls. 219 734

• Weird Entity remnants — Corpses, ashes, remains, and special objects left after a Weird Entity's death can retain God-Entrusting Power. 219
• Masks and personal effects — The red mask yielded over 120 units, while a metal gourd and decayed iron writing brush yielded over twenty and over ten units respectively. 219 279

• Sufficient quantity alone cannot elevate a cultivator beyond the Saint Lord limit without comprehending the origin and essence of their power. 613
