There were thirteen Level Five codices in the library that night. He had chosen the most common one among them: the Void Night Codex.
Not because there was anything special about this codex, but because it contained two complete sets of codices for the Fifth Form and Sixth Form.
Its continuity was excellent, allowing him to stabilize his foundation as quickly as possible.
This codex might not have any excessively extreme, powerful training methods, but it was steady and balanced in every respect. Nothing could go wrong with it, and it had no obvious weaknesses or flaws. It suited Lu Sheng's cautious nature perfectly.
The other codices were certainly powerful, but quite a few had flaws and troubles in other areas.
After all, the Sixth Organ itself belonged to Void Demons, not humans. Compatibility itself was a problem.
After carefully recording the Void Night Codex, Lu Sheng checked it over for mistakes before taking out some thread and binding the transcribed notebook together.
"My strength is becoming less and less sufficient. I've happened to acquired so much God-Entrusting Power, so let me see just how high I can rise if I keep advancing."
He picked up the copy of the Level Five codex and began studying it bit by bit.
The training methods and techniques in the codex were things he had never even considered. Exploiting the limits of the human body and the traits of Void Demons themselves, combining the two to devise training techniques—it was simply unimaginable.
After thoroughly studying the Void Night Codex, Lu Sheng called up Deep Blue again, preparing to attempt another round of advancement.
