Lu Sheng circulated Evil God Power throughout his body and slowly approached the rotating vortex gate.
The Human-Faced Snake beneath him was not nervous at all. It seemed that the Barren Power radiating from it did not affect him much.
Its enormous serpentine body slowly swam through the air, drawing closer to the deep-blue vortex gate.
Very soon, Lu Sheng's hand was just about to touch the vortex gate when he immediately pressed down on the Human-Faced Snake beneath him.

The Human-Faced Snake hurriedly stopped, looking at Lu Sheng nervously.
Lu Sheng extended his hand and slowly reached toward the vortex gate, but when his hand was halfway there, he swiftly pulled it back.
"Stick your tail in and test it." He looked directly at the Human-Faced Snake.
"Uh..." The Human-Faced Snake's heart skipped a beat. Fuck. Yet his swollen, battered face did not dare show the slightest dissatisfaction.
Left with no choice, he slowly extended his tail toward the vortex gate.
He had put his tail through this kind of gate many times. As long as it was not his head going in, it was no big deal.

Lu Sheng sliced off a section of his tail with one slash and tossed it straight into the vortex gate.
"What the fuck are you screaming for? Watch the reaction." Impatient, Lu Sheng smacked the Human-Faced Snake across the forehead.

The tremendous force instantly struck blood from all seven of his orifices.
His face covered in blood, the Human-Faced Snake still had to hurriedly force a smile and bring his tail closer again.
