The abilities of the Demigod level pleasantly surprised Hobart, and he could not help but sigh. Sequence 4 truly is a qualitative change!
Another signature ability of the Fallen Earl was "Utilization." Besides exploiting the conveniences and loopholes in certain rules to prolong or prematurely end certain abilities or negative effects, it could also "utilize" an opponent's attacks. Most importantly, all three had become abilities effective within a certain range, and their targets could be selected.
There was also another signature ability of the Fallen Earl: "Degeneration"! This ability required no buildup and could immediately cause enemies within a certain range to lose all desire to attack, become utterly dispirited, or turn irrational.
At that point, their hearts had already degenerated. For a certain period, they would loathe all positive emotions and actions, taking pride instead in vile and despicable thoughts and conduct. For example, they would watch their teammates be killed and take pride in it;
