Amon's Human Side! Susie, lying on the carpet, cautiously "dealt with" the pulled pork in front of her so as not to dirty the carpet. In the end, Susie stretched out her tongue and licked the scraps of meat into her mouth as well, then commented, "It tastes really good. I mean, it's very distinctive."
She glanced at Audrey, who was gazing at the thin mist outside the window. "Audrey, you seem a little worried. You've been sitting there daydreaming ever since Hobart left."
"I suddenly realized that this world doesn't revolve around any one person." She smiled. "Everyone has their own thoughts, everyone has reasons to be respected, and everyone has their own fate."
Susie's eyes were somewhat bewildered. "Does every dog have its own thoughts too?"
Audrey merely smiled. "Susie, you didn't understand what I meant.
"I mean that being too self-centered may go against the laws by which this world operates."
Susie stuck out her tongue before saying, "Only now do I finally feel that I really am just a dog."
She found that she had not understood Audrey's realization at all.
Audrey smiled and stroked her head. "There's something else that worries me too."
She took a deep breath. "Today, Hobart suddenly asked me not to give up on him. I could feel his deep concern. Could he have encountered some difficult problem recently?"
"You could ask his friends about it," Susie said.
Audrey gently shook her head. "He doesn't seem to have any desire to confide in others about this. His friends may not know what is troubling him either."
Fors might know something, but for some reason, Audrey did not really want to ask her.
Fortunately, judging from Hobart's expression, it was not anything too urgent. Audrey decided to talk to Hobart about it
