Alger once again admired the Emperor's knowledge of Mysticism. At the same time, he thought that the people who had discovered this ruin before were probably pirates. They did not possess as much Mysticism Knowledge as the Emperor. If they dove down and found nothing, they would not have continued exploring.
Waiting for the whirlpool to disappear, Alger took off his coat and prepared to go down and investigate.
However, once the whirlpool vanished, the glow beneath it vanished as well.
Alger immediately understood. He used his ability again to create a whirlpool in the pool, then jumped in and dived downward through the rushing current.
In the water, faint, illusory scales appeared on Alger's body. He was even more agile than a fish, and he could now remain underwater for a long time.
He dived more than ten meters down, until the mouth of the pool seemed far away and the surroundings gradually darkened.
Alger finally saw what was glowing beneath the water. It was two crystal-like stones, with a passage between them large enough for only one person to enter.
There were many such openings in the pool. Even Sailors highly skilled at diving would not dare explore these stone caves, where it was easy to lose one's way.
The two glowing crystals normally resembled ordinary stones, which was why the Sailors who had explored this place before had not noticed anything unusual.
There were also glowing crystals inside the stone cave. They seemed to be guiding the way, as well as providing illumination.
Alger cautiously swam into the opening. Only after no danger appeared did he feel at ease enough to continue forward.
The water level grew higher and higher. Finally, Alger broke through the surface and arrived in a dark cave.
Alger climbed onto the rocks
