A Brief History of the Second Epoch

Behind the Gray Fog, Klein the Fool thought, I was just marveling at how Hobart's way of thinking resembled that of people from the Common Era. Now it seems I was careless. I don't have thoughts that bizarre and abnormal.

"Fauvety was also deeply influenced by humans over the long years, so it used humanity's understanding of that era to explain things to me.

"This is very likely. Demons were a Beyonder race during the Second Epoch, but after the potion advancement system emerged, humans could become Demons as well.

"Furthermore, in order to hide themselves, Demons had to live among humans, and there would certainly have been some intermarriage.

"Perhaps humans influenced Demons bit by bit in this way, and the Demons in turn influenced Fauvety. That is why the Demon
