"They were originally meant to let Tudor move freely between the nine mausoleums, or allow the forces protecting them to rapidly support one another. But those arrangements became a loophole in the mausoleums.

"According to some intelligence I obtained, the Loen Royal Family only remodeled the mausoleums rather than rebuilding them, so Mr. Door's arrangements are still there."

"I heard about that too," Klein said.

He had once used the corresponding Ritual to contact Mr. Door and learned from Him how to enter the mausoleums: the blood of Beyonders from 22 Pathways was required.

But Hobart's method was simpler. "You need the blood of a Sequence 7 or higher Beyonder of the Door Pathway, along with a demigod-level charm possessing the ability of Alteration.

"The Gnostic Council recently set its sights on a Sequence 6 member of the Gnostic Society. I've already informed them that when they surround and kill that Sequence 6, they should drain all his blood and preserve it.

"So I can provide the blood and the charms. Once I've made those charms in a few days, I'll mail them to you together with the blood."

Klein nodded. "All right."

He also found this method more convenient.

Finally, they discussed it and decided that Klein would contact the Mysterious Queen.

After putting away the map, Hobart lifted the Alteration around them and had the servants begin bringing out the dishes.

The three of them ate and chatted, discussing the South Baylam Duchy, the profession of adventurers, Tuthuga Port's future prospects, and Backlund's upper society.

The conversation gradually became more relaxed, flowing from one subject to the next.
