After thoroughly eliminating Eris, Hobart lingered before Selena's grave for a while, then entered the Spirit World once more.

Rather than returning to Backlund, Hobart went to Longtail Island.

Fors and April were having afternoon tea when Hobart arrived with a smile. "Looks like I came at just the right time."

Fors, dressed in a light, flowing gown, was slightly taken aback when she saw Hobart's beaming face. "You..."

Hobart sat across from them. "What about me?"

"Nothing." Fors could feel warmth from Hobart again.

With a slightly reproachful tone, April said, "You should have come long ago!"

He should have come to soothe Fors sooner. After all, she had contributed greatly during the previous war.

"I've been a little busy lately." Hobart casually made up an excuse, took a sip of the tea handed over by the servants, and then asked Fors, "Have the servants at the Lord's Manor and Governor's Office been rehired?"

Fors smiled. "They've all signed new contracts."

But April said, "In my view, Longtail Island's actions haven't changed much at all. Even with employment contracts, some employers with atrocious conduct still won't respect their servants.

"Are you expecting servants to accuse their own employers?"

Hobart patiently explained, "Mother, some things are difficult to change overnight.

"Besides, the law is inherently one step behind. It can only take effect by imposing Punishment after someone commits a crime.

"But we still have to take this step. Only with the relevant laws will servants have grounds to sue their employers. Once there is a first case, more cases like it will gradually appear, and servants will slowly learn how to protect themselves."
