Using "True Sight," Hobart saw that the thin green mist within the dense forest had been dispersed by the tolling bell. It was as though souls filled with unwillingness and helplessness within the mist had been driven back into the Underworld.

When he once again looked out from the third floor of the watchtower at the magnificent sight of the Sonia Sea and the dense forest, Hobart found it rather dull.

A surging force of tranquility immediately enveloped the altar. At the same time, Hobart sensed that it contained a portion of the power of "Concealment," something that had not been present when he had sought the Goddess of the Night's aid earlier.
A Gate of Sacrifice speckled with stars first appeared before the altar, and the "Flesh-Colored Crystal Stone" was immediately drawn inside by an immense suction force.
Looking at the empty altar, Hobart asked, "Honored Goddess, is there any need for this war to continue?
"So many people have died horribly that even Outer Deities cannot bear to watch."
That female voice, which soothed both body and mind, rang out beside Hobart's ear again. "This is one of the most helpless aspects of the Beyonder World. This war has already reached the point where it cannot be stopped simply because someone wishes it to end."
