Before them stretched a road formed from countless enormous stairs, leading straight to the Giant King's residence.

Palaces and towers densely lined both sides of the road. Giant statues clad in silver armor and carrying halberds stood in rows along its edges, guarding the path to the deity's abode.

They seemed to sense unfamiliar creatures entering this place. The silvery-white glow around them brightened sharply as they turned one after another to look at Klein's group.

Hobart turned back and said to Derrick and the other two, "I think you should have some sense of participation as well."

Derrick nodded and summoned the Gun of No Darkness. Colin became covered in dawn-like radiance, with a Dawn Sword appearing in his hand. Loviya released several illusory figures she had Shepherded, each several meters tall and clad in full armor.

The three of them cleared the way ahead. Hobart distorted the path by which sound traveled and asked in a voice only he and Klein could hear, "How do you plan to deal with this female elder?"
