Oboro arrived at the House of Evolution's headquarters one step ahead of Saitama and Genos.

Armored Gorilla had already revealed the location of the base, so Oboro directly opened a spatial passage and entered the underground facility.

Meanwhile, Dr. Genus, the House of Evolution's founder and a genius scientist, had set up layer upon layer of traps from the first underground floor to the eighth.

Oboro strolled through the House of Evolution as if taking a leisurely walk, moving through the various laboratories within the base. He saw countless containers used to cultivate and fuse genes... each holding a created "new species," its body covered in tubes.

Every laboratory also had clones of Genus studying data and operating equipment, bustling back and forth...

Strangely, despite Oboro's arrival, those clones seemed unable to see him at all and continued with their work.

It was not until Oboro deliberately appeared on a surveillance feed that Genus's original body, located on the lowest level, noticed something was wrong. He immediately activated countermeasures and traps... a large number of unfinished and completed monsters were released, beginning a slaughter without distinguishing friend from foe.
