Personal Showcase. Yes, Oboro had decided to go after all.
He couldn't stand Saitama's 'arrogant' expression.
Granted, Sekingar must have said something to Saitama before leaving.
"By the way, Mr. Oboro... are you familiar with that man named Sekingar?" Genos suddenly asked.
"We just know each other."
Oboro nodded.
"He claimed to be one of the Hero Association's higher-ups... and from his words, he seemed very confident in your strength, Mr. Oboro."
"Mm."
Oboro gave a perfunctory reply.
A faint ripple stirred in his heart.
He had eavesdropped on Sekingar's conversation with the two of them from beginning to end.
Fortunately, out of awe and respect, Sekingar hadn't said too much...
But even if Sekingar had said Oboro possessed strength that stood at the peak of S-Class, it probably wouldn't have mattered to Saitama...
Oboro wasn't worried that the baldy would suspect him. The key was... Genos.
"Is that guy strong?" Saitama asked.
"Mm."
Genos nodded. "Teacher, you may not know this, but high-ranking members of the Hero Association rarely involve themselves in trivial matters like hero evaluations, unless the Association has had its eye on the target for a long time... This proves that Mr. Oboro's strength must be extraordinary."
As he spoke, Genos looked again at Oboro, who wore a smile.
"Ordinarily, heroes below S-Class... even those in S-Class, must complete the evaluation and have their strength rank determined by the Association before joining. Then they gradually rise through the Association's internal promotion system. Very few people are personally invited by the higher-ups."
"In other words, Mr. Oboro doesn't actually need to attend the venue and take the test like we do..."
"Wow!"
Saitama was a little confused, but he understood that Oboro seemed to be very strong.
The baldy cried out in surprise and stared at Oboro.
