"A deal?"

Beckett stopped wiping his lips and turned to look at the Skrull before him. The distinctive green skin, the face even somewhat resembling Magma, whom he had killed on Tofa Star.

Or rather, to Beckett, all Skrulls looked more or less the same.

"That's right, a deal. Interested in talking, Beckett?" Seeing that he had successfully caught Beckett's attention, Babar raised an eyebrow, pulled over a chair, and sat down.

"Not interested."

Beckett curled his lips into a smile and leaned back in his chair.

The blunt refusal caught Babar so off guard that it shoved all the words he had prepared back down his throat.

"This is a win-win deal."

"You're sending troops to attack the Kree Empire. You do hold the advantage now, but you still can't conquer them in a short time. But if our two sides work together, things will be different."

After a pause, Babar's voice took on a hint of persuasion. What he continued to say was exactly what Beckett had previously guessed.

After Woz reported Corvus Glaive's relentless large-scale movements, Beckett had guessed that the Skrull Empire, the Kree Empire's sworn enemy, would be unable to sit still.

The Dark Order's strength was not something the rabble scattered throughout the universe could compare to. With someone of that caliber as an ally, the Skrull Empire's advisory council would naturally take it seriously.

Although they did not know what provocation had driven Thanos to make such a decision, that did not stop the Skrull Empire from striking ruthlessly at its old rival.

It was time for the feud between the two great empires to be settled. The addition of Thanos's forces gave the Skrulls hope of destroying the Kree Empire in one fell swoop.

"Go on."
