• Liang Qu discovered the Ze Cauldron, fused with the Water Monkey Marsh Spirit, and subdued Cannot Move before earning money through fishing.

Liang Qu killed a Mountain Ghost during Yi Xing City’s River God Sacrifice, then uncovered suspicions that the Water Blessing Sect had planted Mountain Ghosts and drawn his master away. As he continued training, Lu Gang completed Liang Qu’s Spirit Weapon spear, leaving him better armed for the dangers ahead.

• Lu Gang joined Liang Qu in investigating Lu Shaohui’s death, and Hu Qi identified a Mountain Ghost as the likely killer before Liang Qu returned to refine his skin and study.
• Lin Di offered Liang Qu a share of the Fishing Wharf’s income in exchange for his status, but Liang Qu refused, then helped Chen Qingjiang catch a boatload of fish.
• Xue Chengquan brought his son Xue Dingyi to Liang Qu’s door to apologize, and Liang Qu forgave him while asking Xue Chengquan to cover the River God Sacrifice contributions and fund a congee stall.

After evolving his Water Beasts and hunting an Armored Beast, he advanced his Marsh Spirit to Marsh Ape and began preparing to break through the Flesh Barrier.

• Liang Qu and his Senior Brothers investigated the Mountain Ghosts at Fahua Temple, where Liang Qu uncovered their hidden cave and found evidence of a recent murder.
• Zhao Hongyuan’s message exposed the Water Blessing Sect’s plans, and Liang Qu and his Senior Brothers captured Huang Zejun and stopped the blood sacrifice in Ping Yang Town.
• Xu Shi rewarded the Martial Brothers, and Liang Qu received a Spiritual Artifact dagger called the Azure Wolf while Yang Dongxiong warned that his Fate Standard showed dangerous signs.
