Jing He earned several Gym Badges, strengthened his bonds with his Pokémon, and uncovered an ancient Gengar before returning to Hoenn. Mew reunited with the group and defeated Leon in a brief spar, while Leon invited Jing He to the Isle of Armor.

• Lt. Surge challenged Jing He to an Unlimited Battle, and Jing He won with Vulpix and Kirlia before receiving the Orange Badge and Koga’s Pink Badge.
• Jing He chose a mischievous Pichu at the power plant, then Mewtwo spoke with him about life while Team Rocket’s laboratory was disrupted by Porygon’s evolution.
• Dratini evolved into Dragonair, and Jing He later defeated Blaine’s team with Gengar, Ice Vulpix, and Dragonair to earn the Crimson Badge.
• Ho-Oh gave Jing He a Rainbow Wing, and Professor Oak asked him to use the latest Pokédex to record data on rare Legendary and Mythical Pokémon.
• Jing He helped Bea refine her fighting through a battle between Kirlia and Machamp, then investigated Porygon2’s writings at Viridian Gym and discovered an ancient Giant Gengar with Gengar.
• Jing He used Aura-supported Hypnosis and Giratina’s image to make the Giant Gengar retreat, then defeated Wu Neng’s Onix and Golem to earn the Gray Badge.
• Jing He returned to Hoenn, where Mew reunited with his Pokémon, and Leon arrived after getting lost at sea and invited Jing He to the Isle of Armor.
• Mew battled Leon’s Haxorus as an Eevee and nearly won with Dazzling Gleam, after which Jing He clarified that Mew was his friend, not his Pokémon.

Jing He traveled through Galar and Kalos, gaining Kubfu, helping his Pokémon grow, and recruiting the Indeedee siblings for his Coffee Shop. After returning to Hoenn, he helped free captive Pokémon and treated a Munna tormented by a nightmare, while Darkrai awoke on Newmoon Island after dreaming of Giratina.

• Jing He visited Mustard on the Isle of Armor, passed his test, and partnered with Kubfu after it agreed to join him.
• Jing He and his Pokémon battled a Gigantamax Corviknight, and Kirlia evolved into Tinkaton before he left Galar for Hoenn.
• Jing He planted ancient radish seeds with his Pokémon, then traveled to Kalos and Mega Evolved Gengar under Professor Sycamore’s supervision.
• Jing He recruited two Indeedee siblings from the Coffee Estate and won the Snowbelle City Ice Sculpture Competition with Vulpix.

Jing He aided Suicune in rescuing Zapdos and the drained Electric-type Pokémon, then joined the Kanto League with Rotom and advanced through the tournament. After Ice Ninetales swept Melanie and Gengar defeated Lei Si, Jing He reached the finals against Guderian.

• Jing He followed Suicune to the Abandoned Power Plant, where he helped Zapdos escape the Pokémon Hunters’ trap and recruited Rotom to his team.
• Jing He earned the Blue Badge, registered for the Kanto League, and opened the tournament by winning his first match with Kubfu.
• Jing He defeated Kaplan with Dragonair and received a scroll from Kikuko for Gengar’s study.
• Tinkaton defeated all three of Ilima’s Pokémon, advancing Jing He to the Top Eight.
• Ice Ninetales swept Melanie’s six Pokémon, sending Jing He to the semifinals.
• Jing He agreed to teach Gengar with Agatha, while Gengar asked Agatha’s Gengar about becoming a ghost after death.
• Gengar defeated Lei Si’s entire team, earning Jing He a place in the finals against Guderian.

Jing He won the Pokémon League, added Charcadet to his team, and joined his friends on an expedition where they awakened Jirachi and fought Team Aqua. He began conquering the Battle Frontier, defeated Lila in the Battle Tower, and was invited to become an International Police Advisor.

• Gengar and Jing He defeated Guderian’s team, making Jing He the Pokémon League champion, and Professor Oak presented him with the trophy and Lugia’s Silver Wing.
• Jing He exchanged his prize for items for his Pokémon, celebrated with friends, and chose Charcadet at the Canalave Pokémon Academy Breeding House.
• Jing He and his Pokémon settled Charcadet into their home, treated Norman’s rampaging Salamence, and defeated Norman in a Double Battle, earning Indeedee its first Badge.
• Jing He traveled with Steven Stone, Roxanne, and Flannery to investigate the Millennium Comet, and the Rainbow Wing led them to Jirachi’s crystal in a cave.
• Team Aqua’s A Chao attacked the group, but Jing He and his companions defeated his Pokémon, and the comet appeared, Jirachi awakened, and Brandon and Scott arrived.
• Jing He took Jirachi to the Battle Frontier and began the Battle Tower challenge, where Gengar defeated twelve opponents before facing Lila.
• Gengar defeated Lila’s Alakazam and Espeon, then used Destiny Bond to take down Metagross after a long winning streak.
• Lila awarded Jing He a golden badge and offered him an International Police Advisor position, and Jing chose to continue the Battle Frontier challenge and agreed to enter the Battle Tube with Jirachi.
