Anvis received a vast surge of power from the Wish Spell and set out with Claire for the Fate Stone Tower, where they could contact Uniwal's Dream's core hub. Gray Mist also reached the tower seeking escape, but Star Gazer Brentz appeared and called him his outstanding student.
Gray Mist tried to use the Oni Chaos Core and Gray Balance to escape Uniwal by opening a passage to the Nether Sea, but Anvis arrived and broke his trump card. Gray Mist fled into the Fate Stone Tower as it activated, revealing the Nether Sea through a rift.
Anvis revealed that his Mirror World had concealed the true events at the Fate Stone Tower while Gray Mist escaped toward the Crack in the sky. As Saint Messiah III arrived to seal the Crack, Anvis’s mirror began to fracture, and the apocalypse remained an imminent threat.
Lord Gray Mist appeared to break through to Legendary inside the Abyssal Sea rift, only for a Great Existence’s true body to loom behind him. Anvis’s Mirror World collapsed and left Gray Mist back at Fate Stone Tower, while Anvis took Oni Chaos Core and prepared to leave.
Anvis used the Silver Obelisk left by Hill to escape Saint Messiah III and return to his original World Line, while Claire and the Star Gazer also departed the mountaintop. Back in the Great Library in the City of Origin, Anvis found the silver sphere cracked and darkened after a scarlet eye appeared through a rift in the frozen sky.
After reaching Ninth Rank, Anvis sealed a mysterious Dark Red Eyeball and unlocked the Old Days Prophecy’s final passage, which warned that the end was coming. His return also caused the Fate Stone Tower to ring twelve times, revealing the emergence of a second Ninth Rank Diviner.
After learning that Anvis had become a Ninth Rank Diviner, the Star Gazer warned him that the Darkness Apocalypse could no longer be stopped and urged him to flee. Anvis made a request, and the Continental Magic Council publicly invited Mirror to a dialogue, which Mirror accepted.
After Anvis Olivenndi became known across the continent as a Ninth Rank Diviner and the new head of the Olyvendi Family, nobles who had opposed his family debated how to respond. Earl Baloska shocked the gathered nobles by revealing that he acted on Anvis’s behalf.
Anvis arranged the deaths of the nobles who opposed the Olyvendi Family, then formally became Duke Carlras as the empire’s balance of power shifted. While others watched to see how he would respond to the crisis among the Four Great Families, Anvis took his Floating City into the Deep Dream World.
Anvis brought Emily into the Dream World to use the Nightmare Lantern as a medium to locate the Dead Sea Lantern, an artifact that could guide its bearer through the Underworld Sea. He found it on Black Sand Island beside the crowned skeleton of Gloria Augustine, whose inscription revealed that she had trapped and slain the Chaos Serpent Liantane there.
Anvis used Fate Tracing on Emperor Gloria’s remains and glimpsed the battle with the Giant Serpent Liatan E before the vision shattered. A message left by Gloria explained how alien rules and the Dead Sea Lantern could destroy weakened Legendary beings, giving Anvis a possible method to use against them.
After learning that Pope Saint Messiah III was hiding a secret plan, Anvis sent Yanile to investigate and discovered the Pope’s fate was concealed from divination. The Pope took Yanile to a cavern beneath the First Holy Radiance Cathedral, where he revealed the Church’s “God” was a crystal vessel and that no god or God’s Kingdom had ever existed.
Saint Messiah III revealed to Yanile that the Church’s God was an alchemical vessel powered by faith, then explained that ancient gods had vanished after the War of the End. With Dark Beings approaching, the Pope planned to create a god to protect the world and asked Yanile to help.
Anvis learned that Saint Messiah III planned to use the Church’s Faith Power to restore the world rules during the Divine Grace Festival, with Yanile serving as the Holy Body ritual’s core. At the ceremony, the Pope announced that the Day of Final Judgment would arrive within the month.
Saint Messiah III declared that the Day of Judgment was near and rallied believers to pray, completing the Holy Soil ritual while Yanile activated the Holy Body ritual. As the rituals spread across the empire, the Star Gazer ordered the Magic Council to begin its preparations.
The Star Gazer explained that the Magic Council planned to escape the world by following the breach created by Saint Messiah III’s artificial God’s Kingdom. As Holy Soil spread across the Saint Messiah Empire, the Pope faced a revolt from Saint Arbiter Yorgensen and several bishops.
Saint Messiah III completed the final Holy Spirit Ritual and began ascending to godhood as believers renewed their faith in him. At the Fate Stone Tower, Anvis reconsidered the High Elf Prophet’s plan and wondered whether the tower was a lighthouse.
Anvis realized that his dual status as a Native and an Outsider, along with his ability to see the System Panel, might let him borrow the System’s power to end the Darkness Apocalypse. Carrying the Dead Sea Lantern, he entered the Fate Stone Tower and saw visions of the ancient war as he climbed.
Anvis reached the core of Uniwal’s Dream Ritual on Purple Moon Emis and learned that the Gray-White Sphere there was the Inclination Point connecting the Dream World to reality. He realized that destroying it would collapse the Dream World and free the sealed Dark Beings, but he chose not to act yet.
Anvis shattered the Gray-White Sphere, causing the Dream World to collapse and unleashing the ancient Dark Beings sealed within it. The returning world rules crushed Saint Messiah III’s newborn God's Kingdom, broke the Legendary Barrier for Ninth Rank Limit powerhouses, and struck the weakened Dark Beings, though the strongest survived.
After destroying the Gray-White Sphere, Anvis met the Game System, Wakoreyet, and learned that it had brought humans from Blue Star to Uniwal in an attempt to awaken the sleeping world. When Anvis accused it of predetermining his life and the world’s events, Wakoreyet showed him scenes from Uniwal across countless timelines.
Anvis learned that his actions had changed this World Line, allowing Uniwal to awaken and the world to escape its destined destruction. With the world's rules restored, he reached the Legendary Rank and prepared to seek greater power in the Abyssal Sea.
Anvis visited the Continental Magic Council, helped stabilize the aftermath of the failed godhood ascension, and appointed Lanno to rule the Gloria Empire before preparing to leave for the Abyssal Sea. As Anvis set out with Claire, Fiona asked to go with him, and he welcomed her along.
