The Airship from the Federation Capital slowly approached Luo Mountain. Joel stood by its railing, gazing toward the Rift.
The drifting fragments of rock were gradually drawing inward, and the Rift's light flickered.
The Rift had looked like this ever since that powerful Domain Field erupted. Did that mean whatever had squeezed out of it had already been dealt with?
The captain glanced at him. When Joel said nothing, he did not bring the Airship any closer, instead adjusting course slightly to fly along the perimeter of the shattered mountain.
He had no desire to approach the site of a battle between Fighters without due caution.
Just then, he spotted two more Airships in the distance. One looked quite unlike a Federation vessel, resembling a sightseeing Airship instead. But after another look at its emblem, he thought, People from the International Investigation Group?
They were indeed from the International Investigation Group. This Airship had been dispatched in advance after Head Xie consulted with the group.
Knowing that Chen Chuan might clash with the Primitive Sect this time, and wary that someone on the Federation side might twist the facts, they had sent people ahead to photograph and record as much of the scene as possible from a distance.
Joel suddenly sensed something. He looked back and saw two streaks of light heading their way. In a flash, their trajectories ended at Luo Mountain.
"The Capital's Thrones have arrived," he said.
Below Luo Mountain, Chen Chuan was waiting for the Federation personnel to arrive while also guarding the Rift's entrance to prevent that entity from emerging again.
No other enemies had appeared after he dealt with that man. For a Rift of such enormous importance, the Primitive Sect had stationed only one person here. Their defenses seemed rather thin, but this
