Background

The Federation is a multinational state composed of eighty-two states. Its federal government directly controls less than a third of them, chiefly along the East Bank; many remaining states function in practice as independent kingdoms. The West Bank hosts the headquarters of nearly every cult organization, which operate and preach openly there. 1058

Its rise was tied to the collapse of the Old Empires and the expansion of Federal People into former First People lands.
