After the Hidden Treasure’s Rift exposed an invading army, Chen Chuan led his allies through it and confronted the force on the Eastern Green Plains.

• Chen Chuan cultivated at Jade Peak, followed the Profound Scholar’s method, and transformed the Heavenly Layer of Purple Qi, breaking through a limit and gaining spiritual fire in both his Spirit Manifestation and body.
• Chen Chuan returned to Central City, learned Xu Chan had become a Fighter, and joined him in investigating Green Source Ecology Company and the Old Imperial Household’s search for the Cao Family’s Hidden Treasure key.
• Chen Chuan’s security team warned that the Old Imperial Household might use the Three Mountains to threaten Yangzhi, so he traveled there while Ren Xiaotian and Lu Ke investigated Jiao Mountain.
• Ren Xiaotian and Lu Ke planted Esoteric Ritual devices around Jiao Mountain as Shangguan’s teams opened the Hidden Treasure, and He Fen reported the ritual to Chen Chuan’s side.
• Chen Chuan ordered Cheng Shang’s team to seize the Old Imperial Household party inside the Hidden Treasure, where the prisoners revealed an army was waiting in the Eastern Green Plains.
• Chen Chuan gathered Xu Chan, Mister Zhuan, Masked Mister, Hu Kan, and their allies, and they found the First Punitive Army’s banner among the Hidden Treasure’s remains.

Chen Chuan defeated Su Kuo and helped seal the Old Sin before returning to Jibei Province and strengthening his ties with the Purity Faction and the Fighter Council. As he prepared for a journey to the Linax Federation, he studied Profound Cave Observation and received a national security appointment and a powerful suit of armor.

• Chen Chuan defeated Su Kuo in battle, while Mister Zhuan and the others dealt with Gai Shuhe and the Embroidered Uniform Envoy.
• Chen Chuan investigated the Hidden Treasure, discovered the Old Sin’s ritual and statuette, and helped Lan Shengu and Director Lei replace the ritual that had been restraining it.
• Chen Chuan arranged the evacuation of Jiao Mountain’s residents and entered the Hidden Treasure as the Bureau members dismantled the old ritual and activated a new seal.
• Chen Chuan met Zhan Jiyue, received a higher council rank and cultivation method, but declined to sign Zhan’s agreement.

Chen Chuan escorted the Great Shun delegation to the Linax Federation, where he faced hostile forces and investigated attacks tied to the First People. After agreeing to assess Star Spirit's Throat, he reached Atahoka as one of his scattered cultivation seeds revived an abandoned combat puppet.

• Chen Chuan prepared for the overseas trip, recruited companions, arranged Yang Ling’s transfer to the Esoteric Sect Bureau, and received resources and advice from Teacher Xue and Mister Zhuan.

• The puppet scavenged supplies, killed a wasteland bandit convoy, and headed toward a mining town, while Chen Chuan arrived in Atahoka and prepared to travel to Star Spirit's Throat the next day.

Chen Chuan led the expedition through Star Spirit’s Throat, defeated the enemies who pursued it, and helped the Isutal people begin reclaiming their sacred land. After leaving the mountain, he prepared to take the delegation to Central City as a hidden contact began investigating them.

• Chen Chuan guided his party into Star Spirit’s Throat, where the First People restored sacred pillars and the group discovered the Golden Wheat Field and the Isutal sacred garden.
• Chen Chuan entered the divine guards’ area alone, found ancient medicinal supplies, and later defeated Iron Crow, Saatchi, and Glutton when they attacked him at Gem Lake.
• Chen Chuan rejected an evacuation order and stayed with the delegation as a powerful enemy descended on the mountains, then defeated the attacker before Fan Zhentong arrived.
• Great Shun and Federation officials discussed the West Coast conflict and Chen Chuan’s victory, while Jiang Hongzhi ordered more cultivation resources for him.
• Blood Staff killed the Magistrate and his gunmen, left food and fighting instructions for the children, and drove away from Suwalun Town.
