After strengthening himself through the Secret Serpent Sect’s Snake Shedding and passing his technique assessment, Chen Chuan joined a patrol that traced Wei Wusheng’s deadly attacks before Wei escaped and killed Zhe Rong.

• Chen Chuan and Wu Bei staged an encounter that made Zhao Qian attack Chen Chuan’s domain field, then Chen Chuan used the curse to cripple Zhao during the convoy mission and killed him after defeating Toad Blade.
• Chen Chuan arranged a Snake Shedding service, survived being swallowed by the Giant Serpent, and emerged with strengthened muscles, bones, and organs.
