• Teacher Xue taught Chen Chuan the Empty Heart Seal and warned him to master his techniques before a rare opportunity arrived.
• Counselor Pei explained that Fu Mu’s coming division could destabilize Central City and ordered Chen Chuan to prepare for threats from beyond the world ring.
• Chen Chuan sparred with San Cheng Huang at Green Peak Mountain, and the two parted on friendly terms after sharing their combat knowledge.

As Fu Mu’s division opened rifts across Central City, Chen Chuan fought Miyaei Nagahide and Chang Kuanghai before destroying a split sub-entity. Meanwhile, Chen Bitong defied the authorities and fought Lao Hu, leaving Chen Chuan and two Handling Bureau leaders confronting him at an open rift.

• Chen Chuan prepared his mansion and squad for Fu Mu’s division as insects spread through Central City and rifts began to form.
• Fu Mu’s division opened the Heaven Gate, and Chen Chuan fought Miyaei Nagahide, killing him before the rift revived him.
• Chen Chuan battled Chang Kuanghai, Miyaei, and Astrid at the expanding rift, defeated them, and destroyed its contaminated split sub-entity.
• Chen Bitong used a convoy to evade Central City roadblocks and reached a rift in Hongsheng District, where he and Fang Zhixin prepared to guard it.

• Chen Chuan and Chen Bitong defeated Yang Shen and Nie Guanshan, then Chen Chuan helped Chen Bitong suppress the power of an Ink Color Monster and learned that Chen Bitong wanted to break the Pure Essence blockade.
• Chen Chuan destroyed a Split Sub-entity and returned to help Chen Bitong guard the Rift against White Plague creatures and the Old Imperial Household's forces.
• Chen Chuan and Chen Bitong ambushed the enemy generals, killed the Main General and Deputy General, and then faced a bombardment as Gai Shuhe arrived to fight Chen Bitong.

After passing the screening and learning to resist mental surveillance, he received an appointment as Investigation Supervisor and urged Chen Xiaojin to keep training.

• The government departments planned Horizon Operation against the Ferris Wheel Company, and Xu Chan’s forces ambushed its security forces before surrounding its Yinglu District headquarters.
• Xu Chan’s team fought through the Ferris Wheel Building and confronted Wu Qi, while the hidden entity manipulated the company’s directors and waited for a chance to possess the creature.
• Chen Chuan agreed to join the operation, and Red Dust lent him power as he prepared to strike when the entity tried to take Wu Qi’s body.
