After the Christmas Holiday ended, Albert and Katrina quietly returned to Hogwarts Castle with Dobby's help.
After parting with Katrina in the Entrance Hall, Albert stopped by the School Hospital to visit Madam Pomfrey and find out how the toad's recovery was going.
When he stepped into the Common Room, he found that someone had returned to school before him.
Harry, Ron, Fred, and George were sitting by the fireplace with their heads bent over their holiday homework, while Hermione and Ginny were quietly discussing scarf patterns.
"Oh, brilliant, you're finally here. We thought you wouldn't arrive until tonight." Hearing the noise, Fred and George looked up, spotted Albert entering the Common Room, and immediately sprang from their chairs, beaming as they headed over to him.
"Holiday homework, right?" Albert raised an eyebrow, seeing straight through the reason for the twins' enthusiasm.
"You really do know us." The Weasley Twins grinned. "This makes things much easier."
"Is this really okay?" Hermione glanced at Harry and Ron, who looked envious and jealous, and asked, "If you're not even doing your holiday homework yourselves, what will you do about the Final Exam?"
"Everyone has their own strengths. We're better at practical work than theory. And as for the Final Exam, does that thing really matter?" Fred said something shocking without the slightest concern.
"Since we already have our O.W.L. certificates," George shrugged, spouting a string of rebellious remarks, "do we really need N.E.W.T. certificates?"
"If Mum finds out, she'll go mad," Ron warned.
"Don't lose it."
Albert set down the cat carrier, pulled out his wand from his robe pocket, and gave it a light wave. A folder appeared out of thin air, which he handed to George.
