Ever since his last conversation with Anderson, Harry had considered stopping Dumbledore's Army activities—oh, it was now called the "Defence Against the Dark Arts Study Group." Harry had discussed it with Hermione and Ron, and had also shared his concerns with Fred, George, and Cedric. However, as Cedric had said, too many students had joined the club now. Everyone hoped to learn some useful Defence Against the Dark Arts knowledge here, and stopping DA activities now would probably leave many students bitterly disappointed.
Fred and George even told Harry not to worry. If anything went wrong, they could just take the blame.
Umbridge's still-hidden scheme was even more worrying.
Although DA Meetings continued, Harry instinctively reduced their frequency. Even though he knew that if Umbridge really had her eye on the DA Meetings, holding them less often would not make much difference, he did it anyway. He also changed the recent lessons to the Patronus Charm, doing his best not to leave Umbridge any excuse to target him and Dumbledore.
Harry was now curious about when Umbridge would bare her fangs, and he was waiting for that day as well. Yet it never came. Perhaps Umbridge intended to see who had more patience.
"Still not working!"
Hermione frowned in total concentration. A stream of silver vapour was spurting from the tip of her wand, but it stubbornly refused to condense into a Corporeal Patronus.
This was not unique to Hermione. So far, none of the DA members had successfully summoned a Corporeal Patronus, except Fred, George, and Lee Jordan, who had mastered the Patronus Charm long ago.
"Don't rush. The more anxious you are, the harder it will be to succeed. It took me a long time to summon a Corporeal Patronus too." Harry walked between the two rows, sharing
