"Madam, Peeves is hiding in an Empty Classroom on the fifth floor. It somehow got hold of a batch of Dungbombs. Please be careful of Peeves's ambushes."
Filch, who suffered from rheumatism, bent over as much as he could to show Umbridge respect while reporting Peeves's latest movements.
The Aurors following Umbridge all looked rather uncomfortable as they recalled the scene from not long ago, when Umbridge and Fudge had been chased by Dungbombs.
No Auror wanted to experience something so miserable firsthand.
"First, bring Harry Potter to my office. Tell him I need to see... What is that?" Umbridge had just entered the Entrance Hall when a strange statue displayed there caught her attention.
The Aurors followed Umbridge's gaze and saw the extremely peculiar statue on the right. It gave off a strange stench.
When they turned their attention back to Umbridge, they found that the statue's clothes were exactly the same as Umbridge's. It was clearly a statue of Umbridge, except someone had turned its head into that of a toad.
In fact, a closer look revealed that the statue contained quite a few "secrets." The toad's head bore an uncanny resemblance to the new headmistress standing before them, and it wore a sign that read, "The Ministry of Magic Is Power."
The statue as a whole was a humanoid toad, modeled after the renowned High Inquisitor, Deputy Minister of Magic, and Headmistress of Hogwarts standing beside it.
More interestingly, everything hanging from the toad statue was a recently issued Educational Decree from the Ministry of Magic, as though whoever made it feared people would not notice. On its chest hung the decree Fudge had just used to appoint Umbridge as headmistress, while the other plaques were also clearly legible and contained several important Educational Decrees.
Under the
