"Here, what are you reading?"
Albert set a cup of milk tea in front of Isobel, then took his own cup and sat on the nearby sofa, his gaze falling on the framed photograph on the table.
"A book Mum had Dobby bring over. The things in it don't seem very useful." Isobel put down her book, took a sip of milk tea, and said, "She wants us to go back when we have time."
"Mm, once things here are settled, we'll return to Britain." Albert gently placed a hand on Isobel's stomach. "When did it happen?"
"A few days ago, but it hasn't been officially confirmed yet. You know I have no experience with this sort of thing." Isobel looked calm. She had long expected this day to come and had prepared herself to accept it, though it was indeed a little early for her.
"Don't worry. I'll be with you." Albert took Isobel's hand.
"I know."
Isobel had never been afraid of it, especially after receiving Albert's reassurance last time.
Just then, there was a sudden knock at the door.
Albert swiftly glanced at the map. Only after confirming who it was did he rise from his seat and go open the door.
"Good morning, Professor."
Albert smiled as he greeted Dumbledore, who stood outside.
"How are Nicolas and Perenelle?" Dumbledore asked directly.
"Since the Elixir of Life ran out, their health has been worsening." Albert stepped aside to let Dumbledore in. "I made a prophecy not long ago. It should be today."
"Your prophecies really are convenient." Dumbledore entered and shut the door behind him. "Still, it is best not to abuse them casually. Knowing the outcome of the future is not always a good thing."
