"Are we really moving there?"
In the living room of The Burrow, Mrs. Weasley, having learned the good news, looked at Arthur with confused eyes, hoping to find the answer she wanted on her husband's face.
Just hours earlier, Mr. Weasley had received notice from the Ministry of Magic that their family was on the second list of those permitted to move into the Ministry's shelter.
"Yes. I heard it's a very large building, capable of housing over a hundred families." Arthur was similarly puzzled, but he still told his wife what he knew. "That big building is protected by the Fidelius Charm. Even Lord Voldemort can't get inside."
"But... can hundreds of people living in one building really be comfortable?"
Mrs. Weasley truly could not imagine what that would look like, and she had already grown used to living here.
As far as safety went, Grimmauld Place No. 12, protected by the Fidelius Charm, was just as safe.
"I heard the Ministry has secretly been stockpiling huge amounts of food over there." Arthur paused slightly, recalling the rumors he had heard. "Apparently, Albert is the Secret-Keeper."
In truth, Arthur had been just as confused when he received the notice. He had hesitated over whether to accept the Ministry's offer and move into the large house protected by the Fidelius Charm.
Kingsley had said the rooms they were assigned would not be especially large, but they would still be enough for a family of four or five. More importantly, it was safe.
They would not have to worry about returning home one day to find a Dark Mark hanging over their house. Most importantly, the families of Aurors would all be living there, and the entire building would have people on duty every day. Its security was beyond question.
