"What was that?"
Hermione, who had been watching Harry and Ron team up against Sirius, was startled by the sudden silver glow.
Her scream disrupted the three who had been focused on their sparring match.
The moment Ron lost focus, an Obstruction Jinx sent him flying, and he hit the ground hard.
"What is it, Hermione?"
Harry and Sirius stopped sparring and frowned as they looked in the direction Hermione was pointing. A ball of silver light had landed on the floor and transformed into a silver cat.
"Bring the Two-Way Mirror to contact Albert," Professor McGonagall's voice suddenly said.
"Was that Professor McGonagall's Patronus?"
Rubbing his sore backside, Ron walked over and watched the Patronus vanish without a trace.
"Professor McGonagall wants to contact Albert?"
Harry turned to Sirius. He had long guessed that Sirius and the others had a way to contact Albert.
"Something must have happened. Looks like I'll have to make a trip to Hogwarts."
Sirius stared at the spot where the Patronus had disappeared, then headed straight outside.
"Could it be related to Snape? I remember that Old Bat was supposed to become Hogwarts' headmaster." Ron felt he had guessed the reason.
"Probably not." Harry shook his head.
"No one would want Dumbledore's murderer to become Hogwarts' headmaster. Maybe Professor McGonagall plans to join forces with Albert to drive Snape out of Hogwarts, or..." Ron made a throat-slitting gesture. He felt that if they truly wanted to avenge Dumbledore, making Snape vanish into thin air would not be difficult.
"Definitely not. I think it's probably for those Muggle-born students." Hermione shot Ron a glance, utterly unable to understand how he had reached that conclusion.
"Don't forget the Muggle-Born Registration Commission. Those Muggle-born employees who used to work for the Ministry of Magic were rounded up
