"Damn it, why is this so hard?"
In the room, Ron, wrapped in a thick cloak, flipped through Hermione's notes while practicing the counter-curse with his wand.
He knew perfectly well that if he did not want to keep holding everyone back, he had to learn how to extinguish Fiendfyre as soon as possible, so they could ensure nothing went wrong when they infiltrated Gringotts to destroy the Horcrux.
With Hermione alone, if something truly went wrong, the three of them would be caught completely off guard. They might even lose their lives to Fiendfyre.
"Forget it. I'll talk to Hermione about it tomorrow."
Ron closed the notebook and turned to look at the empty bed. He realized that Harry dating Ginny was not entirely a bad thing.
At least no one interrupted him when he was talking to Hermione.
He just wondered where Harry had run off to on a date with Ginny at this hour.
Should he ask Hermione? Maybe she knew something.
Ron hesitated for a moment, but in the end, he could not muster the courage to go find Hermione.
He took off his thick cloak and hung it on the rack beside him. Just as he was about to lie back down and rest, the sound of a wooden door being violently smashed open suddenly came from downstairs.
"What's going on? Has someone broken into the Order of the Phoenix headquarters?"
He sprang from the bed, grabbed his wand, and pushed open the door. Cautiously, he crept toward the source of the noise, looking ready to fight at any moment.
"What's going on?"
Percy frowned slightly as he looked at his sneaking brother.
"No idea."
When the two of them had just come downstairs, they found the place in complete chaos. The other Order of
