Watching huge numbers of Inferi pour into Hogwarts through breaches all around, the Aurors' faces darkened. Even though Albert had warned them and they had long prepared themselves mentally, the sight before them still filled everyone stationed in the castle with anger.
It was unclear whether they were furious because the Death Eaters had slaughtered Muggles without restraint, or because they had despicably deployed vast numbers of Inferi onto the battlefield.
"Judging by the scale of this tide of corpses, there are at least a thousand of them. This is going to be troublesome."
"This is actually only a small portion of what you can see. There are still large numbers of Inferi that haven't been gathered in time."
Albert remained calm. Ever since discovering that the Death Eaters were creating large numbers of Inferi, he had expected this day to come.
"You should be glad we caught them off guard. Otherwise, Hogwarts would probably be facing an assault by tens of thousands of Inferi."
The Aurors all looked at Albert in surprise, curious about how he intended to deal with the Inferi. "Get ready. We'll take out a batch of them first!" Albert suddenly said.
"No problem, but dealing with these Inferi alone will be enough to wear us out. Besides... they probably won't just stand by and watch us clear them out." The Aurors had all raised their wands, aiming at the horde of Inferi flooding madly through the breaches.
"No, your targets are the Dark wizards. They're gathering at the edge of the Forbidden Forest. I'm planning to give them a big surprise first."
Albert did not take the Inferi seriously at all.
