Having finally shaken off those troublesome students' families, Albert headed straight to Professor McGonagall's office on the second floor of the castle. He needed the professors' help to bring back the students who had been sent away. As someone who had already graduated, even if he went himself, it might not be enough.
After Albert lightly knocked on the half-open wooden door and received a response from inside, he pushed it open and entered. His gaze swept across the professors on the sofa before settling on the person talking with Professor McGonagall.
Percy Weasley?
Oh, right!
Kingsley could hardly dump Hogwarts' mess on Professor McGonagall alone. Sending Percy, someone everyone knew well, to Hogwarts was probably meant to see what help they needed.
The moment Albert entered the office, everyone stopped talking and turned to look at him. Even Percy greeted Albert in a familiar tone before formally bringing up Kingsley's hope that Albert would serve as the Senior Advisor to the Minister of Magic.
"There's no rush. Discuss your business first."
After giving Professor McGonagall a nod, Albert sat down on the sofa where the professors were resting, under everyone's watchful eyes.
"Would you like some hot chocolate?"
Professor Flitwick raised the cup in his hand and gave Albert a weary smile.
"No, thank you." Albert truly had no appetite.
After seeing such an enormous number of dead bodies overnight, most people probably would not have had an appetite. But unless they forced themselves to eat something, the professors would likely find it difficult to keep going.
"Has that matter over there been dealt with?"
Professor Sprout asked in a lowered voice.
She actually felt sorry for directly throwing those difficult family members at Albert, but they truly had no spare energy to deal with them.
