The lights were still on at The Burrow late at night.
Mrs. Weasley sat on the sofa, knitting Christmas Sweaters for the children as usual. Ever since they had all found jobs of their own, she was often the only one left at home.
No one knew how much time had passed when a familiar crack suddenly sounded outside.
Mrs. Weasley immediately looked up at the Magical Clock on the wall. By the time she set down the half-finished sweater and rose from the sofa, Hermione and Ginny, who had just returned to The Burrow, had already pushed open the door and entered.
"Mom, we're back," Ginny said to Mrs. Weasley.
"Hermione, there's a letter for you today." Mrs. Weasley picked up the unopened letter from the table and handed it to Hermione, then went to the kitchen alone to bring them a midnight snack.
"A letter? A notice from Hogwarts?"
Hermione took the letter suspiciously and found that there was no sender's name on it, only a strange mark.
"No."
Mrs. Weasley placed the pie on the table, then returned to the kitchen to make them hot chocolate.
"What is it?"
Ginny picked up a slice of pie and asked in confusion after noticing Hermione's expression.
"I don't know who sent it. There's no sender's name, only a mark."
"Could it be..."
Just as Ginny was about to ask whether it might contain a Dark Curse, Mrs. Weasley said, "I've already checked it with the Dark Magic Detector. There's no Dark Curse, so it shouldn't be dangerous, but you should still be careful when opening it."
Hermione stared suspiciously at the conspicuous mark on the envelope. It seemed vaguely familiar, but she could not remember where she had seen it before.
"Do you know who sent the letter?" Ginny
