"Why does this sound like an interrogation?" Albert asked with a half-smile.

"No, I was just asking. It was a bit excessive," Hermione said quietly.

"As if Rita Skeeter hadn't done excessive things herself," Albert said meaningfully. "The pile of crap that woman's done is enough to put her in Azkaban for life, rather than letting her continue harming other people."

At that moment, the two of them were walking side by side along the gravel path around Avalon's perimeter, inspecting the Protective Magic around the village while taking the opportunity to discuss the "barbecued sow" incident from a few days ago.
