"If you're not mentally prepared, it's best not to get married too early. If you haven't had time to adjust your mindset, you'll probably find it hard to bear the pressures that may come with starting a new family. Besides, the married life you imagine can be quite different from the reality."
After hesitating again and again, Isobel still sincerely offered her rather unpopular opinion and advice. Though such words did not carry much weight coming from someone who had married so young herself, Isobel knew full well that not everyone had the courage to face all the problems that came after marriage at such a young age.
Although some of the girls were unconvinced by Isobel's words, they could not deny them either. Some of them had not even fully mastered the most basic skill of cooking.
However...
The girls around them turned their heads one after another, casting questioning looks at Cho Chang, Angelina, and the other girls who intended to get married.
"Then when do you think it's more appropriate to get married?" Angelina asked directly.
"Usually, around twenty-five is the best time to marry. By then, you'll have completely shed your student mentality and found stable jobs. You'll be able to handle married life much more comfortably in every respect."
Isobel saw the struggle and hesitation in Cho Chang's eyes and silently sighed to herself.
"Of course, this is only my personal suggestion. The specifics still depend on your own decisions. Take Albert and me, for example. We secretly got engaged while we were still students and agreed to marry once Albert graduated."
"Isn't getting married right after graduation a little rushed?" Angelina muttered.
"It was a bit rushed, but we had no choice. For certain reasons, we decided to marry as soon as we graduated.
