Whether for Albert, Fred, George, or Lee Jordan, the First Wizard Card Tournament had been organized far too hastily. Otherwise, they could have waited until Hogsmeade had been completed.
But by the time Hogsmeade's reconstruction was finished, Albert would have already begun his journey around the world. Who knew what would become of the Way of Heaven without him?
So it was better to hold it while Albert was still in Britain. Even if they encountered any problems, he could still help them come up with solutions.
When the hands of the wall clock reached ten, Lee Jordan, who had long been prepared, took a microphone and stepped onto the wooden platform set up in advance. Following the prepared procedure, he briefly explained several important rules of the Wizard Card Tournament, especially warning everyone not to attempt cheating. Otherwise, they would trigger the Anti-Cheating Magic and be punished. Then he directly announced the official start of the First Wizard Card Tournament.
Since there were only limited places in the top sixteen, once Lee Jordan announced the start of the competition, most contestants simply grabbed someone nearby to play cards with, wagering one of their Number Plates. Once a contestant lost all their Number Plates, they would be eliminated immediately.
Albert then witnessed a spectacular sight: everyone was playing cards, hoping to secure a place in the top sixteen before anyone else.
Of course, with so many contestants, there would always be a few who were not honest.
While everyone focused on dueling their opponents, a miserable scream suddenly rang out through the enormous tent. Someone had tried to use magic to steal another person's Number Plate, only to have the nail on his little finger ripped off. The agonized scream startled everyone.
The tent abruptly fell silent, followed by a
